The hot deformation behaviour of an Al4.5Zn4.5Mg1Cu0.12Zr based alloy with 0.05, 0.1 and 0.15% Sc was investigated at temperatures between 300–450 °C a strain rate 0.1–15 s−1. materials constants flow stress model on the Zener-Hollomon parameter were determined (AARE 5.8%). Three-dimensional processing maps established by combining power dissipation efficiency stability diagrams. Based analysis microstructures investigations, optimal parameters as temperature range 350–400 rates 0.1–1 s−1 for alloys 0.05% 0.1% Sc, Sc.
